[Correspondence] Bioresorbable vascular scaffolds and late lumen loss – Authors’ reply

We appreciate Rahman Shah’s interests and comments on the ABSORB II trial.1 Historically, late lumen loss has been positively correlated with acute gain and negatively correlated with residual stenosis.2 In the ABSORB II trial, the underexpansion (expansion index <0·9) did not have a significant interaction with late lumen loss at 3 years (p value for interaction was 0·873).
