[Correspondence] Tackling antimicrobial resistance and climate change

In 2016, Jim O’Neill1 described a worrying vision of the future if antimicrobial resistance is not tackled urgently. Specifically, the report predicted that if antimicrobial resistance is not addressed, then by 2050, 10 million lives a year and a cumulative US$100 trillion of economic output will be at risk from the rise in drug-resistant infections.1
