Discussions AMA Comment Policy

The AMA reserves the right to edit, delete, remove or not allow comments, posts or images, at its absolute discretion, including, but not limited to, those that:

  • could be considered prejudicial, racist, off-topic, inflammatory, repetitive, discriminatory, defamatory, vexatious, insensitive, offensive or otherwise inappropriate or unlawful;
  • use abusive, vulgar, harassing, obscene, profane, sexually oriented, threatening language or otherwise violate any law;
  • infringe the copyright, trademark or other intellectual property rights of any party;
  • infringe the privacy or confidentiality rights of any party
  • contain private and/or personal information such as phone numbers and email addresses;
  • seek professional advice or disclose personal health information;
  • promote commercial services and products, or causes;
  • constitute spam (e.g. posting with such frequency or repetitiveness that others may be discouraged from posting, posts that are irrelevant to the topic and/or the AMA’s mission, and ‘follow me’ posts);
  • constitute trolling (attempting to provoke emotional responses or otherwise disrupt normal on-topic discussion);
  • link inappropriately to other web pages or sites, personal or otherwise;
  • are otherwise deemed inappropriate by the site administrator

Violations of this AMA Comment Policy may cause the author to be blocked or prevented from posting future content. Use of the website is entirely at the AMA’s discretion. The AMA does not warrant that it will be able to control all use of this site. Use of this site is entirely at the user’s risk. The AMA will not be liable for any loss of any kind suffered by any party as a result of their use of this site.
