[Editorial] Europe: taking back control
When the debate about whether the UK should remain or leave the European Union (EU) began, many of those who wanted to remain thought the arguments were clear, even irrefutable. The benefits, economic and political, seemed to far outweigh the harms. But one person’s rationality may not be another’s. With less than a week to go before the vote on June 23, the wind seems to be firmly in the sails of those advocating Brexit. To those of us who have campaigned to remain in the EU, such an outcome now seems a real possibility.
