[Editorial] We need to talk about Yemen

On Oct 26, airstrikes by the Saudi-led Arab coalition in northern Yemen destroyed a Médecins Sans Frontières (MSF) hospital in Hayden, the second of the organisation’s health facilities to be attacked during a conflict in a month. Since the escalation of the long-term civil war in Yemen in March, 2015, UNICEF has verified attacks on or damage to 61 hospitals. As Hassan Boucenine, MSF head of mission in the country, notes: “Yemen is in an all-out war, in which the population caught on the wrong side is considered a legitimate target.”
